Yep, that’s what I just had and not one lick of guilt! Just click here on Faux Fried Food and check it out!
And I had an incredible thing happen this week. A long distance friend and his wife, who are health nuts and very fit, tried the fried chicken and LOVED it. Neil asked me if they had weight issues and I told him that they are very fit and don’t eat regular fried food because it’s so bad for you. So as I see it this way of eating is for EVERYONE! Those who want to lose weight or maintain their weight - AND people who never had issues with food or weight but just want to stay as healthy as they can.
And it’s NOT like so called diet food. This stuff is KILLER! YUM! I still can’t believe I thought it up. But I’m SO glad I did!!!

Three years ago this would have been a day to eat anything and everything. Holidays that revolve around food (and is there a Holiday that doesn’t??) were something I looked forward to because those were days that everyone got to overeat without guilt - including the overweight - like me.
Neil and I currently eat old fashioned oatmeal with some kind of fruit every morning of the week. But yesterday we got the wild hair to go back to breakfast we used to eat BWL (before weight loss) so I picked up sausage and real eggs and bagels to fix this morning.
WHAT A MISTAKE! I haven’t eaten anything that heavy or greasy in so long - well - I’m so sorry and it’s back to oatmeal tomorrow. YIKES!
I should know better than to eat so badly - but alas, I’m still stupid when it comes to food. I wanted the old breakfast because I remembered how it made me feel - all warm and comforted. Right this very moment - all I feel is sick.
Time for more antacid…UGH!

My Mother used to tell me that I was always getting ahead of myself. She was right.
Yesterday I posted (or I should say my dear web master, Jim) posted a recipe I gave him and I had one VERY important ingredient WRONG! So, he has graciously taken it down and now the Faux Fried Food is up and correct - so enjoy!!!!
I plan to have some this weekend! It’s rainy here in Southern California and nothing’s better on a cold rainy day than hot greasy fried chicken - only this version will have no grease!

I just spent all day today writing up this wonderful recipe which will teach you how to fry up just about anything and use NO grease! and as soon as my good friend, Jim, who takes such good care of this web site can get it posted - you need to try this.
I’ve seen people try to fry food without using grease, but they were all people who must not be from the South who, like me, were RAISED on fried food because I tried every recipe I saw and UGH! Food has to be worth eating to go to that kind of trouble. You can’t just crumble a bunch of baked potato chips on something and expect it to taste like greasy good fried chicken!
Well, now I have FINAALY had the time to figure out the correct amount of seasonings and other ingredients and you will simply FLIP when you try this!!!
Hang on to you bootstraps - FRIED FOOD’S A COMIN’! (and it’s GOOD for you!)
